Beverage World Names Oskar Blues Craft Brewer of the Year

BEVERAGE WORLD NAMES OSKAR BLUES BREWERY "CRAFT BREWER OF THE YEAR"

For Oskar Blues Brewery it seems that the ides of March are nothing to be concerned about. After celebrating 10 years of Dale's Pale Ale in a can last year, expanding distribution into several key markets recently, firing up their new Brevard, North Carolina brewery, and announcing 52% growth in 2012, Oskar Blues can also brag about being named "Craft Brewer of the Year" by Beverage World Magazine.

On the cover of this most recent issue you'll find Oskar Blues' founder/owner, Dale Katechis, riding one of his REEB bikes - yeah, if you didn't know he also started a company that makes some incredible mountain bikes - between some fermentation tanks. A very fitting image as it represents two things that have played major roles in making Oskar Blues the brewery that it is today. Congratulations from the folks here at CraftCans.Com to all the good people at Oskar Blues. This is certainly well-deserved. You guys may play hard, but you certainly work hard too!

Cheers!
