Three Great Canned Craft Beer Festivals Happening this Summer!

It's that time of year again, time for beer festivals galore! If you're still working out your summer plans, and want to include a fest or two (or three), here are three canned craft beer focused events happening this summer! Wish we could make it to all three...

What: Ameri-CAN Canned Craft Beer Festival

Where: Scottsdale, Arizona

When: Saturday, May 18th

How Much: $25 (advance), $100 (VIP)

Why: SanTan Brewing Company will be hosting their third annual Amer-CAN Canned Craft Beer Festival and each year it is getting bigger and better. This year's event will showcase over 200 different beers from more than 60 different breweries from nearby and around the country as well as a "craft can award ceremony (from the competition part of the fest), live entertainment, craft food, VIP quarters, nano beer garden, and beer Olympics!

What: Burning Can Beer Fest presented by Oskar Blues Brewery

Where: Bohn Park in Lyons, Colorado

When: Saturday, June 1st

How Much: $25 (advance), $30 (door), $35 (VIP)

Why: the folks that pioneered this whole canned craft beer revolution are hosting this event which takes place during the annual Lyons Outdoor Games. You can sample canned craft beer from from over 30+ different canning breweries representing Colorado and the rest of the country - all while watching the BMX dirt jumping portion of the games. Beer and bikes...makes perfect sense if you know the guys at Oskar Blues! We suggest getting a campsite and settle in for the weekend. Plenty of amazing outdoor events going on and you'll want to add a day or two to explore the area and all of the local breweries...

Where: The Peppermill in Reno, Nevada

When: Saturday, August 24th

How Much: $35 (advance), $45 (door), $60 (VIP)

Why: Canfest is now celebrating its 5th year! The event showcases canned craft beer from all over the US as well as International canned offerings. This year's fest is in a bigger venue, can you say Spa & Resort, and California's Mammoth Brewing Company will once again be the presenting sponsor. Why not hit up this fest and then make a long weekend out of  it before summer ends and head to nearby Lake Tahoe for some outdoor fun...
